Edge profile N°04

14 cm

The mold for this edge profile dates from the mid-1920s: curves were abandoned in favor of more discreet cabochons , with reliefs delineated by straight lines.
You can find it in places with typical looks from the 1920s ; the reflections of this border multiply the space infinitely. It allows for a reinterpretation of the styles and codes of the brasserie. Perhaps too imposing to be purely " Art Deco " this border embraces all styles : from the Roaring Twenties to the 1950s..
This is evident at " L'Express " in the heart of Manhattan. The surrounding buildings reflect the first era of skyscraper construction, characterized by sleek styles as described by Ayn Rand in "The Fountainhead." "L'Express" comes highly recommended by Zagat. It is one of the oldest French restaurants in New York, located almost at the base of the Empire State Building.
At the foot of the slopes, with a superb elevated terrace and a panoramic view from Cime Caron to Aiguilles de Péclet, " Le Rendez-Vous " is the ideal place to gather with friends over a drink, a glass of champagne, or a cocktail. What a joy to meet for an "après-ski" around this magnificent counter after a great day in the heart of the Three Valleys.
