Art Nouveau was harshly mocked by its detractors and described as ‘noodle style’ because of its curved lines and bucolic scenery. This Edge Profile girdled with arabesques dates back to the end of the XIXth century.

However, it fits with styles that have little in common with the restaurants of the Belle Epoque that witnessed its early days. It is now to be found in ‘La Cantine du Troquet’, where Christian Etchebest keeps the French revolution of bistronomie moving: a tidy, modern and creative address. You can have a quick lunch or take your time there, enjoy the countertop or simply look at how it reflects the light throughout the whole room. ‘La Cantine du Troquet’ serves very good cuisine, offers hospitality, either in Paris or in Rungis.

This particularly bright edge profile catches the eye… And the customer! Whatever might be the establishment where it decorates the countertop, everything revolves around it. That is particularly true in ‘Café Gertrud’ in Denmark; it spreads joyfulness. The bistrot atmosphere is simply amazing when the night is endless and the day almost does not set.
