As the younger sister to the Edge profile n.18, this one showcases the blossoming of Art Déco! Shorter by 1.5cm, it is every bit as good as its elder. How intriguing the faculty that its small diamond decorative heads have in filling a room, make the lines and curves of a countertop stand out. It is often said that a pewter top illuminates a room and catches the eye. Art Déco is also about lighting effects; the ascension of neon lights aims at making the various elements of a place stand out.

This Edge profile n.11 enhances the place, and so does Thierry Faucher’s cuisine, enhancing every bistronomic dish featured on the menu of his ‘L’Os à Moelle’. How beautiful, how tasteful, how chic! This bistrot ambiance prevails with its cheeky menu and savory dishes, its cheerful waitress, its place-to-be setting in the neighborhood. That is the spirit of Art Déco.

At the end of Belleville, ‘Aux Tables du Père Lachaise’ is a must-see located in front of one of the entrances of the cemetery. While their countertop dates back to the 1930s, we have also made two standing tables back in 2019. You can have lunch while contemplating the swarm of life on the terrace and the daily, ever-moving life of that neighborhood. The menu of this bistrot is a typical Parisian one, unpretentious, where even bread is homemade. It is as good as the welcome that is effervescent and enthusiastic. This edge profile fits in its surroundings where the patina is imbued with a sense of Paname (t/n: Paris in popular French).
