There is something majestic, almost royal, about the reliefs of this early 20th-century edge profile, like the contemporary Edge Profile N°25.
The N°24 is rarely chosen these days. Too luxurious? Perhaps because most clients often opted for a raised edge? Recently, it has been installed in waves, generally on rather understated furniture. You can admire it this way at " Le Cabanon " in the Batignolles district. This Countertop was welded on-site to encircle one of the building's load-bearing pillars. The ebony woodwork makes the Countertop waves even more sparkling. The wallpaper, evoking abundant, undulating, and lush vegetation, also highlights brass lighting fixtures; it feels like being in an enchanting garden somewhere in the tropics. Everything is illuminated by movable glass roofs opening onto a terrace equipped with Gatti chairs with braids matching the wall colors... mythical !
