Our Edge Profiles are protected by the French INPI and the WIPO

Created by Maurice Nectoux in the 1950s, our n.19 edge profile symbolizes a craving for modernity, renewal and the spirit of industrial reconstruction that then led Europe and the world. Staunchly modern, this edge profile puts in perspective the architectural features of its surroundings and gives to countertops a central role in all types of layouts.

You can sit with comfort and have lunch or dinner on the smart countertop of the ‘6 Paul Bert’. Dark and classical woodwork, green stains mingle with reflections of pewter and the cosmopolitan cuisine of this restaurant, which trademark is to train young chefs coming from all over the world.

The refined lines of the n.19 edge profile inspired a number of establishments, from the industrial style Parisian suburbs, 9 meters long tables of the Café Coutume rippling under the Cupola of the Galeries Lafayette to stylish and Michelin-starred chefs establishments.

In fact, Alain Ducasse trademarked this edge profile, whether in some of his restaurants or in his shops ‘La Manufacture de Café’ in Paris and London.

Yves Camdeborde ornaments all his parisian shops with a countertop and a n.19. With others, Yves founded the Bistronomie movement, among others, on the fact that his wonderful cuisine should be tasted on one of our countertops; and for that we will never thank him enough. Go to ‘Avant Comptoir de la Mer’ or to ‘Avant Comptoir du Marché’, depending on your cravings, taste refined and exquisite cuisine. If you can’t make it to the Pyrenees, stop on the way there in Bordeaux, at Julien Camdeborde’s for a delightful foretaste of Bearn and Spain at the ‘Avant Comptoir du Palais’.
